Te Whakawhitinga, 2022

Commissioned by The Physics Room, Te Whakawhitinga is a short film that follows the journey of a young man, who when is eligible of age, enlists in the army. He leaves his home and the family farm in the North and travels on a train line South to begin his military training. However, upon his arrival, he will discover there will be thresholds beyond the physical he will need to cross and overcome.
